I am an army combat veteran of the Vietnam War. Audie Murphy has always been my hero as a boy growing up. I thought of his accomplishments often while in the jungles of Vietnam. May his memory last forever.

I am a disabled veteran, I served 1-16-1967 thru 9-21-1971. I was not decorated and disagreed on more than one occasion with superiors. I would say I was imature at the time and became an alcoholic. I currently have 28 years sober and finally was able to stop smoking cigaretts in 1997 with the help of God on both issues. God plays a very imporant role in my life these days.
