I met Audie, and Susan Cabot in the 50's, when I was asked if I could bring my cerebral palsy son for Audie to meet. Audie was a very remarkable man, and Rick was quite taken with him, as his dad had told him, that he was being given something special, in being able to meet Audie Murphy and Susan Cabot. Rick is gone now, but he sure helped many people to achieve things that they thought were impossible to attain. May Audie and Rick rest in peace for what they contributed to the world.

Thanks to my late father, he introduced me to this fantastic actor and "MAN". Sure would like more of his movies. I only have one. Thanks for listening. Gary...

Hi,
I'm a freemason and I know that Audie Murphy was a freemason too.

I want to do some research a paper and present it to other masons. As time goes by, the memory of Audie Murphy will fade if his brothers do not carry his message of brotherly love, relief, and bravery that Audie exemplified on the battlefield and in his movie career. I appreciate your website as a tribute to that memory.

Do have any information about Brother Audie L. Murphy --the mason?
Sincerely,
John Forlenza-Bailey, Past Master of Wyllys St. John's No. 4 West Hartford, CT.
