I am an admirer of Audie, and have been since I can remember. I first became aware of his life story, when I saw the movie "To Hell and Back". I did not realize his exploits in WW2, but soon started reading more and more, and I discovered that he truly was an incredible human being. There was to much sadness in his life, and new the little about his own condition of post traumatic stress. I believe in my heart, that the good lord, had him listed as a leader in his army of angels. he needed him more than the rest of us. May I be lucky enough to meet him, when I make my journey to heaven. God Bless Audie Murphy! Added: November 4, 2011

I am a big Audie Murphy fan. I wish his movies were played more on television. I am in such amazement at his accomplishment he made in the military. He is such an inspiritation to men and women everywhere just like every man and woman that serves in the military. I just wish more people knew his life story cause it is amazing. Thank you to Audie Murphy and all our service men and women whom protect our families and country! Added: November 3, 2011

I am very proud that this great war hero MAJOR AUDIE MURPHY was of irish decent ,but sad to know his father walked out on his family .I have often wondered did he ever contact or support his wife and children even temporarily after that? Audie himself is truly inspirational, a real life patriotic hero, songwriter, movie star, poet, and so much more .And after all that ,he remained a gentleman who never forgot his humble beginings. LITTLE TEXAS was and is a BIG MAN. it is a privilige to honour the memory of AUDIE MURPHY .THANKS for the opportunity and a wonderful site.
