I grew up watching his movies and taught my children Cheyene, Cindy and Redclou, Jr. That he was the greatest American Hero beloved and cherished until we are one with the wind.

I remember Audie Murphy well. He was prominent in movies during my earlier years. I also remember the publicity associated with his military exploits during WWII. He died too soon. May God bless his soul. MW

I was young when I watched Audie's movies on a black n white tv w/ rabbit ears. Had my chest of toy soldiers. My Dad was in WWII, 2 brothers in Vietnam, 1 brother in Germany and myself volunteered for the draft in 1972 with a 1-A draft notice. ALL were US Army. Guess where i'm going is I love military history and have great respect for all past, present, and future soldiers and heros of our great nation.
