THERE IS A VA HOSPITAL IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. MY FATHER WAS A VETERAN, WHICH HAS PASSED AWAY. THE AUDIE MURPHY WAS THE HOSPITAL HE WOULD ALWAYS GO TO IN TIMES OF NEED.

I always LOVED Audie in movies and as MOST young girls,"I thought he was Sooooo very good looking and I likes who he was in movies! He never used bad language and it appeared "hard" for him to say or do anything "bad"in a movie. I've always respected him and I miss him. I find it hard to watch ant movie he's in because I wish he was still with us. We could surely use some people like him in this world today.

Audie. Where ever you are. You will always be my hero. You were always so humble about being such an all american hero and such an inspiration to me. As a child..and now that .I am 58 and I still hold your memory deep in my heart.. my one regret in life is that I was never be able to salute your grave at Arlington memorial cemetary or have my picture taken next to your star on the hollywood walk of fame. Well I salute you now my dear hero soldier. In God We Trust. Love from carol :)

True hero and have been a fan of Audie Murphy since my teen years. The movie Hell and Back was truly a movie that inspired me to this day. I am a Navy veteran that has never forgot the true hero of WW2. Watch the movie often to remember what a hero truly is...D.Deaton
