I have six children (two of which are active duty military, a daughter int the army in Afghanistan and a son in the Navy deployed to the Persian Gulf) and it is important for all young people to truly understand what America stands for and to know honest history of some of the greatest Americans like Mr. Murphy. Thank God for him and others who fought and continue to fight for our freedoms. Added: January 13, 2012

I have been an Audie Murphy fan since I was a young boy. He became and remains one of my heros ever since I was taken to his movie to Hell and Back by my Uncle. I just watched it again on Youtube and had tears in my eyes. Thank you for this memorial to a great and true American Hero. The Audie Murphy. Added: January 13, 2012

Loved the website and pictures. I have always enjoyed Audie Murphy's movies and was intrigued to find he was a war hero and a lover of horses. I have seen articles in the past of Audie's horses and noticed in particular that he rode many Quarter Horses. He seemed just a kid when he won the Medal of Honor. We should not forget him as a symbol of what our country can be. Added: January 13, 2012 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts
