Nice to have this site. This is one individual that certainly does deserve it. I still have the news article that I cut out of the paper of Audie's death when I ten years old. He has always been and will always remain a hero of mine. I think I 've seen all of his movies several times.

Thank you for this opportunity. Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,

Joe.

Audie Murphy was true American Patriot and military hero. I watched his movies as a kid and even now as Senior Citizen. I have read his book, "To Hell and Back" as well as watched the movie several times. It would have been an honor to have known him or even met him and shook his hand.

I've just finished reading his book "To hell and back." Since I was a child I've only known of Audie Murphy through his films. I was fifteen when he died. To me, he was a caring human being, who had a charismatic honesty and personality that few people have. That impression for me still remains. Even now there's something intangible about the Audie Murphy name that has an unmistakeable aura about it. I'm grateful that he has touched my life through his films and book. I would like to give thanks for all he has done.
Thank you,
