Audie. Where ever you are. You will always be my hero. You were always so humble about being such an all american hero and such an inspiration to me. As a child..and now that .I am 58 and I still hold your memory deep in my heart.. my one regret in life is that I was never be able to salute your grave at Arlington memorial cemetary or have my picture taken next to your star on the hollywood walk of fame. Well I salute you now my dear hero soldier. In God We Trust. Love from carol :)

True hero and have been a fan of Audie Murphy since my teen years. The movie Hell and Back was truly a movie that inspired me to this day. I am a Navy veteran that has never forgot the true hero of WW2. Watch the movie often to remember what a hero truly is...D.Deaton

Audie isn't forgotten in my books. The lead character reveres and respects him greatly. She visits the gravesite frequently, and wonders if Audie would be ticked that he wasn't buried in Texas.

Spent my overseas WWII time in the C.B.I. theatre.(Burma) Impressed by Murphy's disregard for self and actions under fire. He was one of a kind.

I am glad to see that someone has found a way to keep the the life of Audie Murphy in the public eye. So many people do not know of him nor of what his life meant.
