I've always been a fan of Audie Murphy. My father used to take me to the pictures, back in the 50's, and Audie Murphy has been a favourite of mine ever since. His clean cut lovely face and the decent way about him that he had will be eternal.

Marilyn Paul born twenty years after Audie.

I LOVE AUDIE MURPHY WESTERNS. I;M DEEPLY MOVED BY ALL HE DID IN THE WAR. HE'S THE GREATEST AND DESERVES ALL THE AWARDS HE GOT. I SERVED IN VIET-NAM FROM 68-69 AND I WAS ALSO A STRAIGHT LEG INFANTRYMAN. ALL OUR SOLDIERS ARE HEROES, SOME MORE THAN OTHERS, I KNOW THIS. GOD BLESS THEM ALL AND GOD BLESS THE AUDIE MURPHEY'S OF OUR ARMED FORCES.

It is a privilage to honour the memory of AUDIE LEON MURPHY.There should never be conflict or glorification of war,but sadly in reality we must never forget and remain eternal grateful to the inate courage of men like Audie, for he and his comrades risked all in their fight for our common good in a war of insanity. In your movies we will always see you,in our hearts we will always remember you.RIP.Audie.
