I enjoy watch the old westerns with my parents on Grit. And hearing the stories the tell of the actors and their lives.

Mr. Audie Murphy, you are the best that America has ever known. If anyone deserved the Medal of Honor... that would be you. You have left your impression with the United States because of your tremendous efforts to free the world of the Nazi's back in WWII. Your contribution to America was the willingness to put the interest and well-being of others, higher than your own. Hopefully, your name will be known in history books forever. Thank you for your service and may you be reunited with your brothers-in-arms up in heaven. Go get em', Audie. PS... My father Edward was also an Army soldier from WWII. He took three machine gun bullets and ended up in six VA hospitals for ten months and he was proud to serve his country.

Commander Audi Murphy has always been my child hood hero. He served with distinction by always setting an example for the rest of his men should follow. He also led with grim determination, courage, and humility. I think he would have even made a fine President of the United States.

Telling my children and grandchildren of the great battle field accomplishments of Audie Murphy has always been a wonderful patriotic feeling for me.

He is a hero of heroes. His wife was even MORE amazing serving the VA in LA. God bless you. I had the pleasure as a veteran to go to the VA hospital in San Antonio and get the service I need. From a Gulf War veteran to a true, true, true American hero. God bless you Audie L. Murphy. YOU are a giant of giant. A true American hero. They dont make them like you.

Hello and thank you for this website.

I am just a new Audie Murphy fan after having recently watched his fantastic movie Bad Boy (that I loved!). I just today ordered a copy of his book To Hell And Back which I cannot wait to read, and am very excited to start watching all his other movies and tv series, plus of course learning more about this absolutely incredible man. :!inlove:

We are so happy the cable channel play Audie’s movies. He had a sense of humor, and he was a very good actor. He was handsome and could be serious or a little funny at times. It’s sad how he was so unhappy from the war, and tragically how he died.

He should always be remembered with respect, and never forgotten. Audie was a true patriot.
