America needs to be reminded about this hero!! Perhaps Turner Classic Movies could do a special to honor him! I only learned about him from watching old westerns (as opposed to all the lies and bs drama that is our news now!!). This man was amazing and I think Americans need to be reminded of his amazing self!! ![]() Added: April 26, 2021

I’m a nine year old who loves history. My mom and I were reading a blurb in a book On This Day in History and we read about Audie. I was so inspired that we read To Hell and Back and then watched the movie. We’ve also been reading The Life and Death of Audie Murphy. I am currently writing a research paper and will dress up in military attire and read my paper to my homeschool coop Classical Conversations next week. I am so excited to educate my friends on what an awesome soldier Audie was and how he overcame so very much in life. On a side note, my mom offered to shoot me in the bum with my airsoft gun so I’d have a similar war wound to show during my presentation but my dad said that would be just plain weird;0) Added: April 23, 2021 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

Audie Murphy and Roy Rogers have always been my super heroes. I still watch their movies over and over and I am 80 years old. Kids nowadays do not have any idea what a REAL HERO is.
Oh yes....Audience was solo cute and had a real hero swagger. He never had to exaggerate or pretend. God bless him.
