When I was a child my parents used to take me and my sisters to the movies. I clearly remember Audie's performance and I was always very well impressed about him.
Now that I am an adult it was my wish to get some information related to him. I was very sad to know that he died in a plane crash in 1971 (I never knew, as I got married by that time). I have very good memories of his
movies and I declare myself as his fan.

It was wonderful to find this site. I have followed Audie Murphy as long as I can remember. He was a true hero and a wonderful actor as well. May he be remembered in the annals of time.

Hello,I'm new to this website and I wish I had found it earlier to give you a bit more insight on who I am I am of course Adam R. Ruiz, but I have also been living with this Hero's wife Pamela Murphy for some time until her passing, and let me just say Mrs. Murphy is one heck of a lady we had so much fun together and, I can't imagine how she was with her husband must have been one heck of a couple anyways I'm so glad that you people have made a website dedicated to the war hero.

As a ten year old he was my favourite western actor.
Today I watched an old 60s movie that he made I think it was called SEVEN TO SUNDOWN.Not bad for a 53 year old movie. To bad nobody makes westerns anymore. We are to much
of an electronic world for kids to be interested in westerns.TO BAD
