Hello,I'm new to this website and I wish I had found it earlier to give you a bit more insight on who I am I am of course Adam R. Ruiz, but I have also been living with this Hero's wife Pamela Murphy for some time until her passing, and let me just say Mrs. Murphy is one heck of a lady we had so much fun together and, I can't imagine how she was with her husband must have been one heck of a couple anyways I'm so glad that you people have made a website dedicated to the war hero.

As a ten year old he was my favourite western actor.
Today I watched an old 60s movie that he made I think it was called SEVEN TO SUNDOWN.Not bad for a 53 year old movie. To bad nobody makes westerns anymore. We are to much
of an electronic world for kids to be interested in westerns.TO BAD

Great to see an American hero remembered. The role model for all generations to live up to.

I just loved Audie Murphy. My mom first told me about him. Of course, she had a crush on him. Who didn't? The important thing, though, is that, even though I first saw him in a movie, mom made sure to tell me about Audie. Even at so young an age, I immediately had a respect for him.

I still watch his movies whenever they come on. I was watching one today.

I have no children to tell about Audie, but there are enough children around me to pass on the true story of a real American hero.

Thank you for creating this site. I plan to post it on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Hoe will always be rembered by me. Watching seven ways from sundown as I write. He inspired me as a Soldier Actor and man. I thought of him and all the past heros of wars many times as I served and survived Vietnam. Thanks for such a website!

Just say an old flick on TV, seven ways to sundown and then I googled Audie Murphy. I had heard of him and was so surprised to see what a hero he is. That is something as an American I am grateful for. God Bless his memory.
