Thank you for providing this site Audi L. Murphy was a hero to me growing up and will remain a hero to me not for the medals, movies or other above mentioned items of his life, but for the very quite behind the scenes contributions he made to help others be freed from the bonds of poverty.

I am a Marine Corps veteran. I have always been interested in the life of Audie Murphy. Both what he did in WW2 and after. He was truly an American hero.

I just learned of your existence! Hooray! I have loved Audie Murphy as long as I can remember. I am 66 years old. I found his grave at Arlington a few years ago, which was a thrill for me.
Thank you for preserving the memory of my hero.
Blessings on you

I know little of Audie Murphys life except he was one of those rare people who just kept on plugging away 'till the job was done and was no vein man either with his magnanimous sharing with his unit of credit for his greatest wartime achievements so as well as being a highly efficient soldier he was a really good guy too by the sounds of things, the U.S people must preserve this heroes memory forever.
