Comment: Be for I started my research paper I had no idea how Audie Murphy was. But by the time I finished my research I learned that he was a amazing solder and leader of the US Army.

Comment: My dad took me to see To Hell and Back when I was in 6th grade, in 1956, I was deeply touched by the story and always have supported the Armed Forces of our country. Audie Murphy was my hero.
Comment: Amazing story....his movie To Hell and Back almost seems unbelievable...especially when trying to imagine that one man could do all of that....and yet, there is his true story. Rest in peace Audie and my every respect for what you accomplished for this country.

Comment: Fell in love with him when I was 11 years old. He has been my favourite film star ever since. Hate to say how many years ago.

GREATEST HERO, along with Gen. George Patton, should have taken full command in Europe, not Eisenhower.
