I have been to Arlington to see his grave. It draws such a crowd that it is sometimes difficult to get near it. His military actions will never be surpassed as is his western movies.
Absolutely a shame to lose his life at such a young age.
I saw first hand how the WWII veterans are thought of when I went on the honor flight to Washington DC with my brother.
Unbelievable how well they were immortalized that those two days.

In a world and a country that has to make Heros of actors supported by special effects, I am proud to say as an American that there are real Heros and our Mr. Murphy was,is and always will be a true hero, one for the ages, one that needed no effects or costumes ,One that makes me VERY proud to be an American!!!
