This is a wonderful website. I've been a fan of Audie Murphy for years and have a number of his films. I never thought I'd see his complete military file. That came as a complete surprise and it says a lot about the man. This death was especially tragic and it was very unfortunate. May he rest in peace. Added: October 11, 2014

In 1955 we lived in Tyler, Texas and as people did in those days my family went to the airport to looks at the planes and people. Audie Murphy got off a plane and went to the water fountain and got a drink. I went over and got a drink after him. He was a hero and I will never forget seeing him and that drink of water. God bless Audie Murphy and all of our service men and women. Added: October 10, 2014 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts
