The first time I saw Audie Murphy I was 12 years old,
I became a fan that day and still a fan to day.
On a Veterans day interview Audie said these words it is
not how long or short you live, it is the Quality, of your life. Audie Murphy lived a short life but the Quality of his life was Eminence. God Bless you
and if I may, May Audie and his Wife Pam RIP.

growing up as a kid in a small village in Germany and seeing audie murphy movies was my instant attraction to a hero which all of us kids would fight over to play his role in our cowboy and indian games we often played.Later on in life I read about him and the more the attraction became stronger as he became my one and only real hero.

I never completely forgot Sgt. Murphy. Me being Roman Catholic, he's probably sharing a beer with Saint
Michael (the captain of the heavenly army)! GOD BLESS
THE U.S. MILITARY!

I can't imagine many men like him. My father served in Germany in WWII and tells of many actions by many brave men. (Never mentioned his even though he had his helmet shot off as a machine gunner. I have unending respect for all those men and women. OOOOORAH

The Swedish metal band Sabaton released the song "to Hell and Back" about Audie Murphy in 2014. A fitting tribute to a true warrior. Look it up on Youtube.
