I grew up watching Audie Murphy's movie's, enjoyed every one of the them. I am presently watching 40 guns to Apache pass. Audie made some of the best Western movies made.

I was born in 1954 and grew up hearing of Audie Murphy from my father who was a soldier. It is true that it is no the size of man that counts but rather the size of the fight in the man. It is amazing what he was able to accomplish. It is also unfortunate that he suffered from PTSD previously "Battle Fatigue". I now live in McKinney, Texas and have attended his annual ceremony in Farmersville. I am most impressed with his dedication to avoiding tobacco and alcohol advertisements which would have provided him with needed money at the time. God Bless you and your example, Mr. Murphy.
