Served 1943 to 1946 with Audie in the 5th Army, 3rd Division, H.Q. Bravest man I ever met. It was an honor and privilege to serve and to know him.

I was thrilled to find this site. I am a huge fan of Audie Murphy as is my father, a Naval WWII Veteran. I wonder how many more great things he would have done with his life had he not be taken by the plane crash. With deepest respect and admiration, Louisa Lee

Audie Murphy was a man of courage. I have read most everything I could about his life. He grew up hard and poor, but he proved that he was a man that faced his problems head on and never felt sorry for himself. I wish we had more hero's like him today for our children to look up too.
God Bless America
