I served in the same units as Mr.Murphy from 1959-1961.I wS IN THE !ST Amoror Division.I was stationed in Fort Hood Texas for 18 months in a strike unit to go anywhere in 72 hours. I was too young for the Korean conflict and too early for the Vietnam conflict,but if called upon I was ready.

I have seen many of Audie Murphy's movies and was very impressed with his acting.I have enjoyed all of his movies.I have the one that I like Most,To Hell And Back.In world war two.It is the True Story Of His Tour of Duty In the Army.He Was VERY BRAVE.I also like the western movies he played in.A have several of them.He was a very good actor!!! He left us all at an early age.I know he is still missed by many of his family members.He was VERY BRAVE.I hope he will have a place in Gods kingdom on Judgement day.I believe he will.
