Hi
Just thought i'd compliment you on such a great web site. Loved watching his moviess and think its a shame his memory and greatness isnt remembered and celebrated by more people.
I did notice on your home page that there was a mention of a petition requesting that the United States President award Audie Murphy the Presidential Medal of Freedom. How is this coming along ? Perhaps you should think about setting up a facebook page and link it to this site.

You can almost see the bravery and confidence in his acting.
Yes, he was a real live hero that was acting in Hollywood in what i thought were some good movies. We get a chance thru all the TV and cable/Sat channels to see him again and more often.

I have always admired the service and bravery of Audie Murphy. I served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Viet Nam war (1962-1968). I taught my son about Audie Murphy and his exploits. He wrote a report about his life while in high school and read the book To Hell and Back. I can only say that I was very sad about how he died. One of the newscasters said "the hills of California have done what the entire German army could not, they have killed Audi Murphy". A very sad day for our country.
