I am a retired policeman for the City Of Los Angeles, Calif. As a young boy I would watch anything with Audie Murphy in it. He was, and still is my hero. He wasn't with us very long, but he left us all what a great man he was. RIP Audie. You will never be forgotten by Americans. Added: November 9, 2017

Although I have already signed in on 12/11/2015, I'm honored to sign a second time. Hoping no one objects. He was a HERO in every sense of the word. Just after his 18th. birthday is when he received his MEDAL of HONOR. He was still a young kid. His wound kept him out of WEST POINT. He should have been given the chance to go their. His injury didn't stop him from acting, or bouncing around on a horse. A quiet man. Liked his acting, and still watch his movies when ever they are shown on TV. Added: November 9, 2017

My Daddy taught me a lot about Audie Murphy, while growing up. I am 54 years of age. To this date, it still amazes me of the heroism that Mr. Murphy showed while in the Armed Forces. Thank you so much to Mr. Murphy for everything that he stood for, became and for what he did with his heroics during his service. Our Country should forever be grateful to Mr. Murphy. What a man!
