I have been an Audie Murphy fan since I was in Jr. High School (I was 12 and I am currently 47). I first learned of Audie Murphy when I was watching Westerns on tv. I loved learning about him. It was at that time that I learned of his military career. I found out that he was an American hero. I have watched all of his tv shows and I have always tried to learn more about him. When I was at Arlington Cemetary I was able to let him know how proud he made all of us. That is an honorable man...

In todays world, where anyone who does their job is considered a hero, it is good to remember that "true" heroes like Audie Murphy exist. Those who go above and beyond the call of duty, and place the safety and lives of others above their own. God bless you and watch over you Audie.
