My great aunt & Audie met in Yakima.WA when he was making a film at the Yakima Firing Center,My daughter now has her picture albums & letters they wrote to each other would you like to see them? I have a cadet corp where we traihed youth about military training I am a veteran myself and i teach them about our heros audie murphy is my favorite because he was young and very brave the youngest lieutenant in combat and the most decorated soldier in world war two and i loved the movie to hell and back and all his western movies.If by any chance you have a picture of audie murphy please e mail it to me or send one to my address at 545 east 144 street THANK YOU SO MUCH Added: November 28, 2011

ZAudie has been my personal hero since I was a kid and first saw his story "To hell and back ". I have also made sure my 5 kids and. 8 grandchildren know who he was. I always check Tv schedule to see if one of his movies is showing. Been pretty lucky with the Western channel of late. What can be said about a kid who braved a bloody war and came out a hero. My god what that kid went through! Our teenagers now play video games and text. I'm humbled by his bravery and courage.
