Truly a honorable man. fought and survived impossible odd's. Like all our men and woman in the forces today. They all serve with the highest regard for family, honor, and country. The medal of honor, awarded for those selected few that rise above and beyond, self limitation. Mr. Murphy is a member of that elite club. These men should have a very special place in Washington, where a moment shows all the names of the medal of Honor winners. So they will be always remember. Remember its the man inside. After I returned from the Pacific, after World War II, I run a Texaco gas station in Plano for a while. Audie Murphy would come by with his friend to get gas. He liked to sit with his feet up and I always admired his great cowboy boots. There are so many cowboy boots around here, but never as preety as his. He was a quiet man, but made an impression, before he became a movie star, or celebrity. Added: December 19, 2011 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts
