It appears that we were all born in a war zone where the pressures of life cause many a man to choose the easy way out of abandoning their loved ones, like I saw Audie Murphy's father and other heads of households do in his movie, "To hell and Back." But Audie honorably personified the other choice available - that of aggressively defeating evil with good. He did this with the Nazis during the war and then with the demons that followed him home after the war. Peace comes from defeating our enemies rather than appeasing them and Audie is our shining example. Added: February 5, 2012

I remember Audie Murphy, mostly from his movies. We are fortunate to have a western channel via Dish Network. I am currently watching "The Texican" which I have on pause while I write this note. His movies are frequently shown on this network. I thought I would such the web to find out a little more about Audie and ran across this website.
