I am part of the baby boomers born after WWII. From the time I was old enough to watch movies on TV, I became aware of Audie Murphy. My parents told me that he was more than just an actor. I was told what an amazing person he was during WWII and that he earned every medal our country offered plus a whole lot more. As a child I was very impressed with his bravery and how important he was to our country. Kids today do not have those kinds of heroes. I hope that his story can be passed along to future generations. Added: May 7, 2012

I was privileged to see Audie Murphy in person at a cowboy rodeo in Belton, Texas sometime during the 1950's. O jave always been impressed with Mr. Murphy's courage, character, and ability though coming from a background of a poor farm boy. I read "To Hell And Back" and gained great respect for him. I watched Audie's movies since I was a kid. Until this year I did not know his war experience. I have now read several biographies including his own. I have several movies of his on DVD. I would like to see more on DVD. How can I get more on DVD?
