Named after John Wayne, my father was a 2nd generation German Irish American citizen. My Great Grandparents were the first Americans coming here in the late 20's. I've just recently at the age of 48 started watching more Westerns after my Mothers passing in April of 2020.(1938-2020) Audie Murphy is a American Treasure. For his Guts and Bravery in War to his Brilliant Acting in Movies. I enjoy watching his movies and that's what led me to researching his past. And WOW I found out how much of a brave, moral, honest, hard working, god fearing man he was/is. Rest well I'll see you when GOD calls me home. God Bless & Thank You for All You Had Done.... With Respect, JWK Added: October 16, 2021

I've always enjoyed the films made by Audie Murphy. He was a very good actor in my book. Being a former aviator I was interested in the details of the plane crash that ended his life. His military accomplishments are nearly unbelievable! Rest in Peace brave warrior, Rest in Peace. Added: October 9, 2021

Audie Murphy has always been a hero of mine. I've never heard of a man with more courage. I so wish I could have met him. And I always thought he was a really good actor, even if he thought he had no talent. He deserves to be remembered and I wish teachers would teach about him and what he did along with all those who served with him in WW2. I'm not even certain they teach history anymore in school. But they all need to be remembered for what they did to help preserve the freedom and safety of this country and the sacrifices they made. Rest in Peace Sir, Thank you for you're courage and service to this great country. Added: October 2, 2021 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts
