Audie had such a "hard scrabble" beginning in life. Also his siblings ! It's a wonder they became anything at all. His father was no example. His mother needed help and guidance in every way. She died from exhaustion.
Audie tried his best to "break out" of the insane poverty, at last being accepted into the military. At Last,...three meals a day and medical attention. He became his own hero first, the his country's, then his family's. His wife Pamela took over for him after his death and became a true "super" hero ! May God bless them ALL ! My heart goes out to the entire family.

Thank You so much for keeping Audie's memory alive . I always enjoy watching his movies . For me , he is truly someone to look up to and admire. He seemed to be genuinely a good person . Being a Tanker in the Marine Corps from the 1970's , I wish that I could have met him . Such a great Loss , Thank You for everything Audie !!

Really enjoyed his Western Movies. He was a Great American-just what America needs at this terrible time of Socialism and Communism taking over this Great Nation. Him and John Wayne were (2) of the Greatest American s to ever live. Thank You Audie Murphy for being an American 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
