When oh when is the Governor of Texas going to give Audie's sister Nadine the Texas Legislative Medal of Honor which he had finally awarded to Audie. It's been 3 months already! I always loved Texas because of Audie, but now I'm so ashamed of Texans--most of them, some of them even in Greenville have no knowledge of him. The Communists in the schools are sure doing a good job of stamping out knowledge of America's heroes. Stalin said the only way to get America was by attacking their morality, spirituality and patriotism. Guess what. They sure have succeeded, including electing the Alinsky radicals in the White House. May God love Audie and may God help America!

I so admire Audie Murphy from being so poor and determined to make something of himself and he did.In my opinion, Audie Murphy is one of the greatest Americans that ever lived.

Audie would be ashamed of the moral deterioration this country is in right now.....a country that at the time of his heroism was worth risking his life for.....I wonder if he would do the same thing today!

Sitting here watching my DVD 'Whispering Smith'. I have been a fan of Audie Murphy for many years and try to get my hands on everything he did. He had a wonderful talent that was cut short too soon. There are not many of his caliber in today's industry. I must say I had never heard of 'Whispering Smith' until a few months ago, even though I am a lifetime westerns fan.
I heard about his distinguished military career and did my research on it. An amazing soldier who seemed to care more for his comrades than for himself.
A wonderful actor who left a memorable legacy of great pictures.
