As a participant of the South Plains Honor Flight, October, 2013, several of us visited Audie Murphy's grave after watching the Changing of The Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

I just watched, "To Hell and Back", which told the story of Mr. Murphy 's exploits and unselfish heroism during WWII. He possessed the calmness, clarity of thought, and judgment of someone much older. I was amazed at how well he assumed a leadership role during that tumultuous time in our country's history. He deserves to be remembered and honored for his service.

I grew up in Moran, Texas, and during high school in the 1950s, Audie Murphy was my favorite male movie star. Nice that his service to our country is being honored.
