I have been a fan of Audie Murphy for a long time! I’m So thankful for his service to our country! I knew he was decorated but not to the extent I learned here. It saddens me that he passed away so young!

I'm 69 years old. I always knew Audie was a war hero but didn't know how great a hero. I never knew Audie made movies. I found his name when I was flippping through tv listings He was a great actor and all his movies are fantastic. I now own 17 of his movies on dvd and will be purchasing more of them.

A great man that didn't do it for himself, and an actor that openly said he had no Talent. I believe he did and brought something to the screen that was honest and real. A true American Hero

I review with pleasure his westerns.
He was a good artist and a big man

I have followed his tracks in the Vosges (Cleurie, Brouvelieures, Mortagne and also Holzwihr in Alsace).

Thank you, Audie

Thank you for all the work that you have done. I had personally only learned about Audie Murphy's incredible life over the past year from listening to Sabaton's song, "To Hell and Back." Audie was a true American hero and should be celebrated as such. Unfortunately, culture has degraded to a point where the most vapid of entertainment and the most vain of "celebrities" are thrust into the spotlight.

I am continually in awe at the courage, heroism and character of Audie. All three traits are lacking in my generation. I am inspired and strive to build on these traits in my own life.

Thanks and God bless,
An

My hat is off for a great American Hero. I to have served my country in the US navy from 1960 to 1967.
