I would like to have at least shook Audie Murphy's hand. He was definitely a great war hero who I will never forget. I salute you.

Thank you for this wonderful site and all who have contributed to it. When I was in my teens I loved watching Audie Murphy's films. One day my mother (who had served in the Air Force in Australia during World War 2, mentioned that he was the most decorated American soldier of WW2. To know that Audie was indeed a hero as well as a much admired actor has kept me interested in this man all my life. I still have the newspaper clippings from our local paper when he died. I am 61 years of age and have been avidly reading all the information on your wonderful website. Thank you for keeping his memory alive.

Wish I could of served with an individual of his honor, intergrity and valor. 33 earned awards and decorations and the key word is EARNED not pencil whipped. The world should do more to remember all that you accomplished.

I signed yesterday but had to say something after seeing that so many people signed which makes me proud. It makes me cry with pride to know that Audie is remembered and it makes me believe that he will always be remembered. God Bless all the heroes
