My father was a sergeant in WWII, he served in Germany under Patton. He had a lot of respect for Audie Murphy.

Just watched again, To Hell and Back, It amazes me that he joined the army at 16 and at 19 was America's most decorated soldier. In 2001, my husband, daughter and I went to Washington DC and visited his grave at Arlington. America needs to remember Audie Murphy, he was a giver and gave so much to protect our freedoms. Thank you Mr Murphy!!

Audie Murphy has been my hero a all of my life. This month I will be 66 yrs old.I think that his life should be taught in the schools so the young people can see what a real American hero is.
