Terry Murphy and Larryann Willis have done a fantastic job with the Audie Murphy Research Foundation. The Foundation is important; I'm so glad it exists. we need to learn about our Country's heroes....what they did to keep our Country free, and we need to make our children aware.

I have been a fan of Audie Murphy since I was eleven years old; he was the greatest infantryman of our time. There was no one like him. I regret I never had the opportunity to meet him.....to thank him.

I assumed he was living happily in Montana or Colorado or somewhere similar

have been a fan of Mr.Murphy all my life first as a western fan as a young boy than a pure fan as I grew older. was living in the d.c area when he passed in the crash. it floored me as I was only a small boy. and to this day I am still a fan and always fascinated about his life.

I believe we may be 2nd cousins. My Dad Robert Murphy was in WW2 and said he was related to Audie, so I assume they were 2nd cousins
