Comment:
Although audie was an American trough and trough, I am so proud that his family were from Ireland, He was a remarkable human being, and i wish in my heart i could have met him.I am so glad that you are not letting his memory die, And im so sad that this Giant of a man who contributed so much in the war effort is almost forgotten, it is a shame and disgrace. He had morals and standards that we all wish we could aspire to. I will never" forget him, and i hope America wakes up and realizes the sacrifice there young me are making to keep this world a safe place. Viet Nam vet ., I've heard of Mr . Murphy all my life as far back as I can remember ! My father & uncles made reference about him , and I saw a couple movies about him . It wasn't until my cousin made reference of how he wanted to be just like him in S. Viet Nam ! That really opened my eyes !!! There's no comparing him to anyone , because we are all special in our own way . Yet he stands out with a group of other esoteric soldiers ! Hoo - rah ! May he and other great soldiers never be forgotten , for they left it all on the battle field !!! Yes , for YOU , and their country !
