I read "To hell and back" Audie is the paradigm of unselfish sacrifice in the service and aid of his fellow soldiers.He felt the weight of command,and repeatedly refused to place others in harms way.he has and always will be my favorite hero.

I wanted to show my students "To HELL AND BACK" in honor of VE day and the 70th anniversary of the end of the war. I was disappointed to find that I could not rent it from the library. He must not be forgotten.
