Comment:
Here at the National Museum of Pacific War we make history presentations to school groups during we show infanty weapons used in WWII. When we show and explain the M1 Carbine we ask the students if they know who Audie L. Murphy is? Seldom does any student recognise his name. We point out that he received the Medal of Honor and was the most decorated combat soldier in WWII; and the M1 Carbine was his favorite rifle. They leave here knowing a great deal more about this American hero. Added: May 9, 2018 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

I recently visited his gravesite at Arlington and was not aware he was awarded the CMH. I'm an Air Force veteran and a HUGE fan. I'm hoping more of his movies get released for purchase!
