I really honor Audie Murphy and all the contributions he gave to our country in the war. He was not just a movie legend, (i do enjoy his movies, To hell and back, being one of my favorites). He was a real American Hero.

It would have been an honor to have Audie Murphy. At the time of his death I was just returning from Vietnam. His death was a great loss.

I was only a child when Audie died. However, I am his biggest fan. I never miss his movies. I record them and watch them over and over. His astonishing career in the Armed Forces is wonderful. There should be a federal holiday in his name commemorating his war efforts. I just love this man.
