An amazing individual. I just returned from a trip to France and visited Audie’s memorial site in Colmar, France where he held back German forces atop a burning tank. Very moving. Wish I could upload the photos I took.

I am puzzled that there is no mention in his list of homes about his ranch in Menifee, California. I live in Canyon Lake that actually borders his former ranch property. A great hero and wonderful life.
