I am definitely an Audie Murphy fan! He was an outstanding soldier/soldier leader and actor. I was very upset when he died so young....with so much life remaining! I hope all members of his extended family take the time to understand how much their "Audie" accomplished for his nation and for the soldiers under his charge.

ive been a movie fan all my life and Audie Murphy wasnt just a film star he was the most decorated soldier in ww2 and deserves the utmost respect,as a point i was born on the 28th may 1971 when i came into the world a great Man left this world, i think that every year june 2oth at Arlington cemetery should always attended by the top brass of US MILITARY, I will make a point of visiting Arlington in the next two years with my son to pay my respects.

I volunteer at the Planes of Fame Air Museum in Chino, California. We do a monthly "Hangar Talk" the 1st Saturday of every month and then fly one of our many Warbirds. One of our talks is a 15-20 minute remembrance of a Medal of Honor recipient. I will be proudly doing one on Audie Murphy in May.

As a Texan born in 1953, I always admired Audie Murphy. My father was a WWII veteran. He made sure we understood who Audie Murphy was and his significance as a great Texan and American. In 2024, I want Audie's legacy to be remembered for Americans today. So thankful that I found this site.

I ws in the Army and heard many stores of Mr Murphy.
It was good to read about him.I was in Viet Nam with the 4.th infantry Division.
