I didn't realize how great a person Audie was until I saw To Hell and Back on tv last night. So glad I watched it. I have seen several other movies with him starring however the Hell and Back movie just made me so proud to have discovered his importance in the war. I wish people would have recognized him more. He was a small young person but very tall in his bravery and common sense. Most people that met him didn't like him until his deeds and personality showed them what a wonderful and brave person he was. He just did what he thought was the right things to do letting no one tell him different.
God Bless Audie Murphy

Audie Murphy was a childhood hero to me. We need more military standouts like him today. One of the first movies I saw with my sister was To Hell and Back. I still watch his movies today. He's gone but not forgotten. RIP.

I’m just learning about Audie Murphy‘s military service. I have been watching Audie Murphy on television and just recently became aware of his heroism. I was proud of him as I am my own father Colonel Malcolm, K Bailey. More needs to be done to bring his story out. I think I should’ve heard of his military service first and then found out. He was also a movie star! We need more heroes. Men like Audie Murphy, and my father are true heroes! They stand out in a whole generation of heroes. Thank you for giving our country somebody to look up too!
