I only found our hero earlier this year after seeing one of his movies. But now I have started watching and reading all I can find on him. What a great man and hero. Thank you for your great service Audie Leon Murphy!

A true hero who earned each and every one of the medals and awards he received. When I was a kid we all knew who he was and looked up to him.

I love history and my husband loves it even more! I stumbled on this site after watching one of his movies, Walk the Proud Land. As I usually do, I searched for more information about the events and people involved. Thank you for creating this site. I hope it helps in creating awareness of of our past, present, and future military members...they are all heroes in my book.

We just came back from Washington, D.C. We were able to see his grave marker. Also, told the students about him and his heroics. Texas Pride !
