I regret that I "found" Audie Murphy later in life. Although I had heard of him and seen a few of his movies, I didn't know his amazing story until fairly recently. Since then I have been so captivated by the person he was, all he accomplished, and the tragedy of how the war impacted him for the rest of his life. What an honorable man! A true American patriot who should never be forgotten.

This man sounds to had been an extraordinary human being, and his life and memory should never be forgotten through history. In today's society, you no longer hear about hero's like Audie Murphy, instead sadly they are forgotten.
