Audie is one of my heroes. I watch his war movies any chance I get. I wasn't in the service but I get chills when I watch Audie and I tear up. I'm so proud to have known of him.

I have always had a place in my heart for Audie Murphy, from the 1st time I saw To Hell and Back and found out about his service to this country to the present; and I always think of him on Veteran's Day. God Bless him and all those who have served and continue to serve.

I wish I could have met Audie Murphy to shake his hand. A true American hero we can look to today as a role model. On this Veterans day, I want to thank him. Because I believe somehow, he is still with us.
