Comment:
Recently I entered a Walmart located at 72nd & Sheridan streets...there on the wall, conspicuously located, was a collage of photos of military heroes from various conflicts in our nation's history. There was a photo of 'Audie' Murphy, however under his photo his name was misspelled. The name 'Artie' Murphy was placed. I brought this error to the attention of the store manager who said that he would bring the error to upper management attention. I made the statement that 'Audie' deserved to have his name spelled correctly since he was our nation's most decorated military veteran of WW II . Weeks later, I walked into the same store & NO CORRECTION was made under his photo. Again I brought the glaring error to store's attention and again, it was stated that the error would be corrected. Yesterday, I entered this store & again...nothing had been done. Bringing this deliberate failure to honor 'Audie' in an appropriate manner to your attention. Hope you can contact Walmart Headquarters & bring this now deliberate failure to justly honor 'Audie' to a correct conclusion. After all...'Audie' has EARNED our nation's rightful respect to spell his name CORRECTLY. Added: July 5, 2016 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts

As a life long resident of Texas I never knew much about Audie Murphy. My wife and I visited a museum in Hillsboro , TX this past week and there was alot of information about Audie.
What a great man he was!
