I have been an admirer of Audie Murphy since childhood (1970s). I admire his bravery, for it America, etal, will be forever grateful, & I have enjoyed his movies & TV Series (all of which I am happy to say I own,) & always shall, but most of all, I admire the man himself. I never had the honor of meeting him of course, but one does not have to meet a person in the flesh to know what kind of person they arem My knowledge comes mostly from seeing him on games shows, interviews, etc.; knowing of the drama he endured, the price he paid, & how he dealt with all of it. In this, myself understanding the depression & aftermath that tramatic effects a body has endured & the mind's reaction to those event(s). One day soon, on my way hone to Wales, I intend to visit Arlington Cemetary; I plan to visit only Audie. To you, those who loved, Audie Murphy for what kind of man he was, inside, I offer my condolences. He was a good man. Added: October 28, 2022

I am a new fan of Audie Murphy. I have known about his life and I did see "To Hell and Back" years ago. As I was researching his life I came upon this wonderful website! His film, "The Cimarron Kid" is on TV as I type. He was a great actor! John, Clint and those other guys made good westerns, but Mr. Murphy's westerns are just as good, great stories, good supporting casts and excellently produced and edited. Audie Murphy is a WWII combat veteran and a highly decorated war hero! Those other guys were just actors. Added: October 9, 2022 Powered by PHP Guestbook - brought to you by PHP Scripts
