A military photo of Audie Murphy
Left to Right: Very likely Johnny Bill Cawthon, son of John Harvey "Barber" Cawthon* and Willie Pinson Cawthon. Willie, too, was a barber and later he and Melba owned a motel west of Greenville, Texas on the southside of I-30. John Cawthon owned the barbershop in Farmersville that was depicted in the Life Magazine photo (July 16, 1945 issue) where Audie was getting a haircut while scores of onlookers watched. (Information provided Michael P. West.)
