WHAT A HELLUA MAN AND JUST PRAY THERE WILL BE MORE AMERICANS LIKE HIM IN THE FUTURE.Nowadays he would sadly be considered a sadistic butcher by the whining liberal media & limp-wristed left wing nuts. My Dad knew of him and his accomplishments during his own Marine service days of WWII.

Your sacrifice and service to our country will not be forgotten. I joined the Army during the Vietnam War, your name was always with us in Boot Camp. I thought you never got the credit you deserved during your acting days. To Hell And Back will always be remembered a great and true War Movie. Rest In Peace My Soldier Brother, To A Real American Hero. GOD DUTY HONOR COUNTRY

Every time I read about Audie Murphy, I'm so impressed w/ this Am giant. I'm now reading about him in a book titled: Real Men,Ten Courageous Americans to Know and Admire. Once I finish, I plan to give the book to my 13 yr old grandson, to especially read about Audi Murphy. I hope it helps in his life to live.....in freedom, thanks to Audie Murphy.

Thank you Audie Murphy for your service to this country and doing all you did, to save my freedoms.....I hope forever.....fps

I always liked Audie. His heroic actions in World War II were just unbelievable. He was an excellent actor also. It was tragic when his life was cut short. I will always remember him.
