I am an avid fan of Audie L.Murphy's movies specially the movie To Hell and Back that I saw when I was still in grade school back here in my country. He was a fine and brave man that no one can duplicate all his achievements in life..

he was a modest,intellegent,brave and honest American. He really should have gotten 3 or 4 Medals Of Honor, but the powers that be didn't believe that one individual should get more than one. So they gave him every other medal that they could think of. He did not believe that he should have been honored like he was. He just did what he had to do to protect his friends and his fellow combatants. Just think all of that bravery from one little Texan! I'm just proud to have served in the US military and proud to be an American. God bless the United States of America!

I grew up watching the 'old style' Westerns and especially movies that Audie Murphy starred in. He had an appeal like John Wayne and was loved just as much. :)
