From my early years as a child I learned from my beloved late father who had numerous idols in WWII from Gen. George S. Patton, JR. to Audie Murphy and I learned alot of the virtually superhuman feats he achieved and the ton of bravery and countless medals by one of the greatest patriots of all time in my book.
For all the pain, both physical and psychological this man who loved God, family and country and became the most decorated soldier in WWII, I am constantly amazed at the humility and soft and kind heart in a man who truly knew what to do when faced with the worst evil mankind may have ever faced with incredible courage.

What a real life hero to be admired. Loved his movies and his down to earth attitude. Youth of today could use men of such character to use as role models.

I loved the story and movie of Audie Murphy. What a wonderful and brave man he was. It was very sad when he was killed in a plane crash. I wished he could of played in more westerns.
