Summary: A rare and valuable jewelled statue is stolen from a local church and the padre knows who the thief is. Surprisingly, the padre will not provide a description of the thieves unless Detective Smith agrees to certain conditions. After reluctantly agreeing, Detective Smith pursues the culprits in the desert despite terrible odds. Guest stars include Peter Whitney and Lou Krugman.
