Summary:
Audie co-stars in this western as the semi-heavy brother of James Stewart. Audie is a fast-drawing but likeable outlaw known as The Utica Kid and joins up with the Whitey Harbin gang. Whitey, played by Dan Duryea, keeps robbing the train for its payroll and has successfully prevented the railroad workers from getting paid for 3 months. However, the Utica Kid doesn't share in the way Whitey runs the gang. Grant McClain, played by James Stewart, is the older brother of the Utica Kid, and is a former railroad employee who was fired in disgrace. Grant is then recruited to take the payroll on an under cover mission. Even still, Whitey's gang tries to rob the payroll again and Grant and the Kid meet again to settle an old score.
